Clipper Guide

Find the moments, skip the scrubbing.

When a brand adds source videos to a campaign, the AI reads the transcript for you: a summary of what the video covers, plus a timestamped map of the most clippable moments.

What Clip Finder does

Clipping a 30-minute source video usually means scrubbing all of it for the 20 seconds that matter. Clip Finder does the scrubbing for you. When a brand attaches source videos to a campaign (YouTube or TikTok links, with rights confirmed), the system automatically pulls each video's transcript and maps it: what the video covers, and exactly where the strongest clippable moments sit.

Each analysis is generated once per video and shared with every clipper on the campaign. You never trigger it, never queue for it, and never pay for it: it is ready before you start.

  • Summary: 3 to 6 sentences on what the video covers, its format and speakers, plus key themes.
  • Moment map: up to 15 moments, each with start and end timestamps, a one-line hook suggestion, why it is clippable, and a confidence level.
  • Everything is drawn from the video's transcript, the words actually spoken. The AI is forbidden from inventing visuals it cannot see.

Where to find it

  1. 1

Open AI Tools. Clip Finder is the first tab (1) and lists every campaign with analyzed source videos. Pick a campaign to open its analyses.

  2. 2

Read the summary (2) to know instantly whether the source material fits your style, then scan the moment map (3) for timestamps, hooks and confidence levels.

  3. 3

The same analysis also sits on the campaign detail page, in the AI Clip Finder section above the brief, so it is right there when you join and submit.

What is free, what is Pro

  • Free for every clipper: the full summary, key themes, video duration, and how many moments were mapped.
  • Clipper Pro: the moment map itself, every timestamp, hook and reason. Free accounts see a locked teaser with the moment count.
  • Viewing costs nothing for anyone: it never touches your daily AI quota or your free trial credits. Analyses are system-generated when the brand saves the campaign.

Good to know: This tool is different from the rest: there is no Generate button and nothing to spend. If a campaign has source videos, the analysis is simply there.

How to work a moment map

  1. 1

Sort by confidence first. High means the spoken words alone clearly carry the moment. Medium and low deserve a manual check before you commit.

  2. 2

Jump to the moment. On YouTube, the Watch at link opens the video at that exact second. TikTok has no public time links, so press Copy timestamp and seek manually.

  3. 3

Watch before you cut. Timestamps come from the transcript, so a moment might need a few extra seconds of visual context on either side. Trim to what feels right.

  4. 4

Pair it with the other tools: run Brief Analyzer for the campaign's rules and payout math, then Hook & Caption Generator to sharpen the suggested hook into your own.

When there is no analysis

  • Analyzing video: the job is still running in the background. Check back in a minute.
  • No captions available: the YouTube video has no captions, or no speech was detected in the TikTok video. There is nothing to analyze, honestly.
  • Analysis unavailable: the card shows the real reason, for example an unsupported source type. YouTube and TikTok links are supported today; other platforms are not analyzed yet.
  • No section at all on a campaign page just means the brand did not add source videos. Not every campaign has them.
